Get Into the Ark of Jesus Christ
Now is the time to get into the Ark of Jesus Christ. In Genesis 6, God the Creator regretted that He had created man on the earth. He was sorely grieved. The wickedness of man was great in the earth at that time. Every imagination and intention of all human thinking was evil all the time. The Nephilim were also in the earth. The Nephilim were a hybrid race; the offspring of fallen angels and the daughters of men. God gave man 120 years to respond to His salvation, before He brought judgement by flood. However, He provided a way of escape and safety through Noah's Ark. God commanded Noah, a righteous man, to build an Ark of safety and refuge. He gave Noah specific directions on how to build the Ark.
While Noah was building the Ark, he preached to the people living back then. He warned them of the coming judgement by flood. He told them the only place of safety would be in the Ark. He warned them to turn from their wicked ways, turn to God, and be saved. The people mocked him and ignored his warnings. When Noah completed the ark, God sent the animals and birds in pairs to him and they entered the ark. Only Noah, his three sons, and their wives chose to believe God's warning and enter the ark to be saved. They were the only ones who believed that God was going to bring judgement to that generation by flooding the earth. God then shut the door and shut them in. No one could enter or exit the Ark. God had given that generation 120 years to repent and make the decision to enter the Ark. When God shut the door, it was too late.
After seven days, the flood waters came on the earth. The Bible says on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the flood waters of the heavens were opened. And rain fell on the earth forty days and forty nights. Every person who chose not to repent, believe and enter the Ark drowned. They failed to listen to God's warning and save their lives.
Today there is an Ark of Salvation traveling through the earth. The ark is Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Jesus is the only Ark of safety and refuge in the earth today. All of us are only one heartbeat from eternity. None of us knows the day or the hour of our death or the coming of the Son of Man, Jesus Christ. But we know it's appointed once for every man to die and to face the judgement and that we are living in the time of the end. Matthew 24:36-39 says, "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man," (NIV).
We will all be judged on whether we have received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, have been cleansed and justified with his blood or if we refused his sacrifice. If you choose to get into the Ark of Jesus Christ, you become a child of God and God's wrath is removed from you. However, if you refuse to get into the Ark of Jesus Christ and choose not to obey the gospel, you will suffer the punishment of eternal separation, away from the presence of the LORD.
The Bible says, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved, you and your household." Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord Jesus shall be saved. Today if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts. Now is the time to get into the Ark of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ died for you. If you choose to receive him and what he has done for you, simply confess the following: Heavenly Father, I repent of my sins. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is LORD and believe in my heart that God raised him from the dead. Please come into my heart and make me new. Please help me to live for you now and forever more, in Jesus' name. Amen.
If you said that prayer, welcome to the family of God. You are now a new creation in Jesus Christ. The old has gone and the new has come. Let someone know that you received Jesus as your Lord and Savior. You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to share your salvation with us, or if you have any questions. Ask the Lord Jesus to lead you to a church fellowship where you can be encouraged and grow with the family of God. Shalom.
